However to locate the museum in person, please enter “50 Newcomb Place” or “Woldenberg Art Center” on your GPS. Newcomb Art Museum is located on Tulane University’s Uptown Campus at the intersection of Drill Road and Newcomb Place. The museum directly faces Newcomb Quad.
Walking? The museum is a 0.5 mile walk through campus from the St. Charles Ave. streetcar stop.
Parking in the neighborhood? We are a 0.3 mile drive on Broadway between Freret & Willow.
Directions
The Newcomb Art Museum is located in the Woldenberg Art Center on the Tulane campus.
If you are taking Uber/Lyft or using Google maps, the destination to be entered is Newcomb Art Museum. Do not use our street address in your GPS since that will drop you off at the other side of campus.
From I-10 Baton Rouge: Exit Carrollton, turn right onto Carrollton. Turn left on Claiborne (you will have to make a U-turn after crossing Claiborne, and then make a right onto Claiborne). Turn right on Broadway. Turn left on Willow. Take the second right on Newcomb Place. Drive into campus. Turn right at first stop sign. The Museum is on the right in the Woldenberg Art Center.
From the Central Business District: Head north (upriver) on Claiborne. Turn left on Audubon Drive. After crossing Willow, Audubon becomes Newcomb Place. Drive into campus. Turn right at first stop sign. The Museum is on the right in the Woldenberg Art Center.
