A Katrina Remembrance Featuring PJ Morton and Sunni Patterson
“See there’s a reason you’re still standing after all you’ve seen… Please just don’t ever let go.”
On the 15th anniversary of Katrina, in the middle of another time of chaos, confusion, and loss, we remember and honor those whose lives were lost to the storm and all those who were affected in its aftermath. New Orleans is a city whose creative culture is woven into the foundation of its soul, and it is to our artists, musicians, and writers we look – now and always – to interpret our memories and future longings into something we can hold.
We want to thank PJ Morton for the music, Sunni Patterson for the words, Bmike Odums for the vision, and Dru Bui for packaging it all together.
